This week seems to gel more as the meetings that I have been attending for are being finalized into black and white. In fact, more 'life' is growing in and on InQueenz. Yes, Life! Collaborations with partners in the industry are being put in place, while invitations to be in the media is ongoing. I am really excited about the progress as I believe that having such opportunities plus preparation (my portfolio) will bring and put InQueenz to greater heights!
In time to come, more people would be able to see, hear, touch, taste and experience InQueenz. For example, being on the cover of the March issue of Newman magazine as well as the six page interview & editorial has helped people understand where InQueenz is standing. Expect to see the active-ness grow in months to come. Hint: You'll be Seeing more, Reading more and Hearing more about us!
I will definitely update you regarding our whereabouts...
Readily and steadily, as students of InQueenz, for example, the batch of Advanced Queenz Competitive Training Programme, will be enjoying more privileges that ranges from products consumables to products non-consumables and even services at a Queenz rate and/or beyond. I am delighted with such intiatives as I believe in developing and value adding to my students. In fact, referrals to modeling, acting, hosting, singing, etc. assignments has allowed my students to not only gain more experiences, grow their portfolio and also polishing their applications of the knowledge that they've learnt in class.
InQueenz is definitely becoming a platform for girls, ladies and women to develop, enhance and even showcase their Inner Queen!
Queen, Queens, Queenz - whichever 'Queen' you will become or develop into truely depends on yourself and the platform that you will be standing on. I am happy to inform all ladies out there (ok, at least for those who reads my blog entry)
that the major pageant organisers have kicked off their recruitment drive for 2008! So if you are interested, or have a dream in becoming a Beauty Queen, or even just a fleeting thought of extending your youth and inner wisdom, do logon to the respective organiser's websites to register!
For those who are absolutely new to the pageant industry, I extend my warmest welcome. By the way, (FYI) in Singapore, the top four national pageants are:
1. Miss Singapore Universe
2. Miss Singapore World
3. Miss Singapore International
4. Miss Singapore Earth
Of course, there are many more contests and pageants being held. Like, U are the One, Cleo covergirl, Superband, WCOPA, The sweetheart pageant, Miss Singapore Chinatown, Miss Singapore Tourism, just to name a few. All these cater to varied individuals and of varied statuses.
Like I mention, every girl/lady has their own style, personality and charisma. I do believe that there is a different platform for every individual. And I want to help these individuals to identify and guide them to their respective stage/platform. Possible Outcome? To shine! So if you think you have the potential and/or talent, and you would like to discover more about yourself and your stage, do "talk to me" via sms, email me at enquiry@InQueenz.com or call me!
This Saturday, 8th March 2008, is the International Women's Day! Yes, and a busy day for me!
Early morning, one of my students, Carol Chin, will be doing a photoshoot for a magazine. We are both very excited and have looking forward to this shoot as it would open more doors for her. We will see Carol at the News Stands soon.
In the late morning, I am attending my secondary school classmate's wedding! Its a lovely church wedding with a tea reception thereafter. I love weddings as they bring so much joy, love and grace! Wondering when will it be my turn? Ha! First, I've got to attract my Mr. Right. =)
In the afternoon, I will be going to MDIS. Well, a good friend of mine will be giving a talk at 2.30pm on "Discovering your life's passion and empower yourself for success using NLP" at the MDIS Stirling Road Campus. I will be there to give my support, and if you are free during this time, do come by! This talk is open to the public.
Last but not least, my students and I will be attending the In-Gear Party held at Bar Co-Coon, Forbidden City by Indochine. The address is 3A Merchant Court, River Valley Road, #01-02 (Clarke Quay). The party starts at 8pm.
Certainly a packed day for me...
Gosh! Looking ahead, having a work-life balance will prove challenging.
Meanwhile, do take care, and see you next week!
